AASECT Supervision

LMFTA/LMHCA Supervision

As an AASECT Supervisor in Training, I provide sex therapy supervision to those pursuing AASECT sex therapy certification. My specialties include BIPOC sexuality, religious sexual shame, and perinatal mental health.

Feel free to reach out to discuss my experience and approach. AASECT supervision can be provided to anyone in the U.S.

I currently offer clinical supervision to LMFTAs and LMHCAs in the state of Washington as an Approved Supervisor.

I am available to meet with potential interns virtually or via phone prior to beginning the supervision process as it is important to understand the goals and expectations of supervision while also fostering a positive relationship.

About the Supervision Group

This group meets biweekly to provide supervision for LMFTAs and LMHCs. It is a great supplement to your primary supervision at a lower cost. It is a collaborative group format which allows for case consultation, self-of-the-therapist exploration, diverse clinical perspectives, and private practice guidance. Group sessions will be conducted online.

* Group supervision does not serve as primary supervision and participants must have a primary supervisor to join this group.

Space is limited to (6) supervisees per group session.

My Philosophy of Supervision

In short, I believe that supervision is a collaborative process to facilitate growth and development as a therapist. I take a systemic approach to therapy as well as supervision. This means I respect the intersections of one’s life which includes, but not limited to, their relationships, friendships, family, profession, race, ethnicity, sexuality, sex, gender, socioeconomic status, religion, etc. I believe these factors impact a person’s past and present. I take the same approach when working with supervisees.
