AASECT Certified Sex Therapist

Sex therapy is a subspecialty of mental health therapy. It utilizes traditional talk therapy to better understand your unique situation and which sexual difficulties you may be encountering. Sessions are conducted via telehealth and do not involve any sort of sexual activities during sessions. Therapy starts us discussing your sexual and relational history. From there we can outline some therapy goals. Outside of session, activities may be assigned to help improve your situation as appropriate.

Couples Counseling / Marital Therapy

Over time, it’s easy for couples to become mired in conflict, miscommunication, and contempt. Couples counseling is a place where new habits can be formed and love is is rekindled. I desire to create a safe space for couples to process, learn, and make positive changes in their relationships. We will work together to address relational conflicts using a multifaceted approach.

As a marriage, couples, and family therapist, I take a systemic approach to therapy. This means we will look at how the intersections of your life and your partner's life impact who you are as a couple today. And we will examine what role your family of origin and other life factors play in your relationship. From there, we can write the next chapter in your lives.

Operating from a strengths-based approach, we can leverage your collective resources to effect change in your relationship. I utilize an integrated approach to build emotional intimacy, effectively manage conflict, and improve communication.
